Are You Lost In Game? Win Here!
05-26-2015, 05:20 AM
Hey Guys and Gals TMG here
Ever felt stuck in Summoners War? I have. And if you’ve ever asked yourself questions like these:
Who should I 6* next?
What to do next in the game?
How do I become better?
This guide is for you!
These are questions we’ve all asked ourselves at one time another while
we find ourselves pouring over all the glistening mystical scrolls, in hopes of getting the
lottery winning Natural 5* summon.
We see in general chat streams and streams
of 5*’s being summon and think to ourselves “Just one more summon.”
In the beginning of the game this works out to your detriment. We end up chasing the scrolls and either end up with a ton of shit monsters or a bunch of great
monsters. Ironically, ending up with a ton of shit monsters is actually more
beneficial to the cause simply because it offers us the chance to focus.
And what is focus?…
Focus is what gets you through Giants b10 and Dragons b10,
Focus is what helps you clear the Trial Of Ascension,
Focus is what helps you send 99 percent of the arena competition home with
toilet tissue to wipe there wounds.
And thats what this guide is all about, learning how to focus.
So the question is, what do you focus on?
Instead of summoning countless monsters praying for a Polar queen and just ONE ArchAngel
There is a natural progression to this game and I’m here
to provide you with the full guide to reaching the top.
Now. Lets get down to business.
In this guide we’ll go a bit more in depth and cover all the nooks and crannies to give you a strong baseline for progression.
This guide is split up into phases and builds upon the information provided to give you everything you need to know about moving to the next phase of your game.
Phase 1: Scenario Clear and developing a farmer
Phase 2: Finding a healer and building support units
Phase 3: Collecting base runes
Phase 4: Farming Giants B10
Phase 5: Farming Dragons B10
Phase 6: Trial of Ascension Clear
Phase 7: Climb arena ladder
Each phase builds collectively upon one another and provides you with all the tools along the way in order to be successful.
You might ask, “Why do I have to do it in this order?” and the bottom line is this:
You need runes from scenarios to climb the heights of Giants
You need the runes from Giants B10 to climb the heights and finish Dragons B10/Trial of Ascension
You need the runes from both Giants/Dragons to clear ToA
You need the experience from ToA to stand a chance at beating the Arena
There is no ToA floor that will compete with the difficulty of battling to the top ranks of the arena.
Lets Get Started
Phase 1: Clearing the Scenarios
Com2us did an excellent job of providing the perfect starter team. Extremely balanced and can successfully clear most content with the correct runes. This team includes water fairy, wind vagabond, fire hellhound, and light garuda. And other than switching out light garuda for water garuda to remove negative effects, this team can clear all scenarios up to faimon on hell. We created a guide which you can find here in clearing all scenarios and effectively leveling here

The goal of phase 1 is ultimately to make a 5* farmer( A monster than can clear hard and hell stages quick and efficiently while running solo)
The purpose of this monster is to help level up all monsters which are going to be used for power up or evolution material. Used in conjunction with 2x XP, this allows you quickly make 5 and 6*’s monsters which you’ll need for the rest of the game.
This sets up a strong foundation from which you should have a solid team to use to clear or come close to clearing secret dungeons. Which you will need to complete in phase 2.
Some example Farmer types of monsters include:
3*’s
Water Serpent
Water Werewolf
Fire Inugami**
Also, some 2*’s like the fire hellhound and most 3* atk monsters can clear hell modes in Mt. Siz and Garen Forest when runed properly.
Of course there are a ton of 4* and 5* monsters that can clear it as well. The most important thing when taking these things into consideration is elemental affinity. (What element is strong against what)
Phase 2:
Phase 2 is very important and most players will unfortunately skip this phase, chasing the almighty mystic scroll, only to find themselves lost and not knowing what to do.
Don’t short change yourself and put in the work early so you can reap the rewards.
You’re next goal is to attain a healer, specifically Ahman(Light Bearman) who will be your first 6* if you opted to leave your farmer at 5*’s.
You’ll need a wind griffon from Tamor Desert
- You’ll also need monsters from secret dungeons(Light Vagabond, Light Inugami, Wind Pixie, Water Garuda) and all fuseable monster fodder for fire sylph, dark ifrit and water phoenix.
Fuse Veromos
Ahman and Veromos will be the key to all Giants/Dragons B10 runs from here on out.
And since you’ve already obtained your farmer, these monsters should be a breeze to level.
If Ahman or Bella are hard to attain and sometimes they can be, Water/Light Howl/Wind Yeti make great alternatives.
If Rngesus blesses you with a Wind sky dancer, please be sure to proceed with her as your primary healer.
Phase 3, 4, 5: Collecting Base Runes, Farming Giants, Farming Dragons
Collecting the base runes will allow you to step into Giants prepared. It will also put you in a position where it’s easy to swap out upgrades to existing runes, leaving you in a place of strength rather than weakness.
All the information to successfully rune your monsters can be found with this link to the Summoners War forums.
tooillustrious.freeforums.net/thread/10/summoners-war-dragons-giants-guide
You will also find the base HP requirements that should be easily obtained should you follow this guide. It will also provide team templates to follow to fill in with your already obtained Ahman and Veromos.
Phase 6: Trial Of Ascension
The Trial of Ascension is com2us’ way of preparing you for whats to come in the arena. It pits you against 100-200 different team combinations and tests your team strategy and execution to the fullest.
By forcing you to think outside the box, ToA prepares you for most everything your arena competition will throw at you, thus making you a better player. As you fight for the ToA clear, you’ll find yourself back and forth between Dragons B10 and Giants B10 and ToA.
You’ll constantly be testing and upgrading current rune builds as well as tightening down your current strategy. This is a necessary step that has to be completed in order for you to reach your full potential while playing summoners war. Com2us has provided us this content to ensure that we’re all evolving the way we should.
Phase 7: Arena
This my friends, is where all the chickens come home to roost. This is where everything you’ve worked so hard to accomplish will show. This is where all the results are found and where the legends are made.
The arena will make you question everything and adds a whole new layer to the gameplay. Again making you go back to D10/B10 to redefine strategy and refine rune placement and team composition.
Everything you’ve done up to this point adds up to this moment, so congratulations for making it this far.
It’s all worth it! I hope this guide helps you guys and gals find the gap that has been missing in your gameplay and catapults you to new heights. With that being said guys hope to see you all soon in the top 300, top 100, or even the top 10. Good luck guys and may RNGesus bless you.
