Kulzin,
Depending on how many parts of your old system you want to still use I would recommend making sure you update the following:
CPU: Intel I5- 4670K, I5-4690K or if you feel you have to have an I7 there's always I7-4790K. Best bang for buck is the I5
Mother Board: Any Asus MB with socket LGA 1150 and Z97 chipset depending on what size and price you want
Graphics: Nvidia GTX 970 or 980
Hard Drive: Make sure you are using a solid state drive (SSD), I suggest Samsung 840 or 850 series

I usually prefer using Asus motherboards but there are many other brands that are decent. All the other stuff looks good.
Have you ever installed a CPU before? If you have a Fry's or similar store near they can install the parts for you for a fee. Usually a decent deal IMO. I have gotten lazy in my old age and let them put my build together for me lately.

I have not exactly put a computer together by hand myself. I can build a house or vehicle from scratch tho. Lol. Tho yeah I don't have any prior skill training in building a computer from ground up. Is why I ask people about things, and then when I originally had this custom build done I had used Digital Storm online and had them get all the components together for me and put it together. They then mailed it to me complete and functioning.

Changing the HD can be done at any time so if its not something you want to do now it can wait. I absolutely suggest doing it at some time though. SSD's are way better in every way except storage space and cost.

Seems closest thing I have for parts installation is Geek Squad people from Best Buy. No Fry's nearby or such. Guess I could look at an SSD and use SSD for the boot ups and such, and then just save junk to the other hd.
